Anne Harding Woodworth
Anne Harding Woodworth has been writing poetry since the 1970s with a decade-long hiatus, during which she workedfor Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Michigan. With her move to Washington, D.C. in 1993, she returned to writing.Having lived at various times in Greece, Italy, and Germany, as well as the mountains of Western North Carolina,she often draws on her experiences in those places. She is the mother of two former professional U.S. soccer players,and she still loves cars. She serves as a member of the Poetry Board at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington,D.C. Her work has appeared in many journals including The Antigonish Review, Connecticut Review,Poet Lore, and TriQuarterly. Unattached Male is her fifth collection.
