| Cheryl Alexander Malcolm is Associate Professor of English in the Department of American Studies at the University of Gdansk in Poland. Among her books are Understanding Anita Brookner and Jean Rhys: A Study of the Short Fiction. She is co-editor of eros.usa: essays on the culture and literature of desire and British and Irish Short-Fiction Writers, 1945-2000, a volume of the Dictionary of Literary Biography. Her essays have appeared in numerous American and European journals, including Studies in American Jewish Literature, MELUS, and English Studies. | ||
